  • Sad that you didn't include a-ha's new album in your top 50 of the year, yet you DID include Cheryl Cole and Shakira. Pretty ridiculous really, The Bandstand, Riding The Crest and Sunny Mystery are some of the best tracks of the year.

  • At least it's not U2 with Bono in one of his bowel emptying poses or Kasabian apparently believing that if you have the clothes and the hair you must 'rock'. Fact: 'best album ever' is usually not listened to a year later.

  • Your review of Alix Perez's album, saying it needs to sound more like Pendulum, shows a total and utter misunderstanding of drum and bass. You guys shouldn't be reviewing music you've got no idea about.

  • Having heard about your review of Alix Perez's album i had to comment and re-iterate the above comment. Stay away from drum and bass you philistines!

  • The Alix Perez album 1984 is a concept album and not a dancefloor / festival mash out. It's for listening to at home or in the car. Pretty bad review in my opinion.

  • Uh oh, drum and bass f4nboyz have posted the review on a blog somewhere. What's suprising is that some of them can actually string together a coherent sentence.

  • Whats going on ey? You clearly dont have a clue about drum and bass, how can you compare alix perez's new album to pendulum in anyway? Pendulum dont even make drum and bass, its more pop rock made at the same speed.

  • The Alix Perez review shows a complete lack of knowledge of the drum n bass genre.. Any fan of drum n bass will tell you that you can not compare the styles of Perez with Pendulum. When you review a drum n bass album in future, please ask someone that knows something about the scene to write it.

  • In reply to Mr A Man's post. You say that you are suprised that Drum and Bass "fan boys" know how to string a sentence together... Have you checked your spelling recently? "Fan boys" is technically TWO words and doesn't have a 4 in it or end in a "z"!

  • This simply is another example as to how lame music listeners have become; that the Arctic Monkeys (great musicians with nothing new to offer to the world) and all of the other retro, we-can't-make-any-new-music-for-ourselve's generation muppets who have no clue as to what innovation is and obviously no dignity for repeating what has already been done over and over and over and over again. Way to go, comment poster's: you are officially the representatives for a complacent and dumbed-down, idiotic society! yay!!!!!!! Go watch your rubbish footy and East Enders and leave music to intelligent and educated individuals.
